We are glad you stopped by.  Come inside and see what we have to offer...

Manning, one of the newest towns in the north, was named after a former Premier of Alberta, Ernest Manning.  The town sprung up after the Second World War on the banks of the Notikewin River, between two small hamlets, North Star to the south, and Notikewin to the north.

Due to the diversified economy that supports the Town of Manning, the community has prospered as its businesses grew up within it to support the ever growing agricultural, forestry, gas and oil industries.

Well located, Manning and area boasts scenic

camping and picnic sites sprinkled throughout.

A hunter and fisherman's paradise in natural bush lands surrounds Manning.  "The Land of the Mighty Moose", is not just a symbol.  Hunters from near and far take advantage of the abundance of North America's wildlife, including deer, elk, moose, ducks and geese.
